start small.

Matthew 25:21 - "His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!'"

Doesn't it stink when you want to do something really badly and then someone discourages it or thinks you're too young? That has happened to me A LOT. Well, this Bible verse indicates that people start out small. You can do small things, such as helping with the neighbors kids or serving in the church. If you accomplish that successfully and faithfully, God smiles and gives you a little bit bigger job. Once you complete that successfully and faithfully, God gives you a bigger job, so on and so forth. If you know much about history, some of the most greatest people started out small. Thomas Edison started out from reading scientific books at a young age, to eventually became the person who invented electricity. Electricity has become in our everyday lives. He changed the world. The way we can do something big is by doing little things faithfully and God will say, just as he did in this Bible verse, "... Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!" Start small. Don't give up. You will be a difference maker if you do the little things faithfully.
