2 Corinthians 5:17- Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!
I really don't remember what it was like to not be a Christian. I accepted Christ when I was 5 (although, I couldn't really understand what that meant), and I have had slowly and slowly more of a relationship with Him. So, I don't really know what it is like to be a flat-out Non-Christian. But, some of you might know what that was like. And this verse is saying that if anyone is in Christ (if anyone believes in Him), they are a new creation. That means that your old self, the one you once were, has disappeared, and you now have a new self. That self is the one that has the Holy Spirit inside of you to guide you and to remind you that Jesus loves you. If you feel a nudge to do something or not to do something, that is the Holy Spirit inside of you and you know that you have accepted Christ. That new body that you have has one purpose- to go and tell others about your new faith, about the loving Father. So use your new body for it's purpose. Go and tell others about Christ. A useful way to tell others is not by our mouths, but by our actions. So today, make it a goal to glorify our Lord with our actions and tell others about Christ.
