2 Timothy 3:16-17 -"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
People think that the Bible isn't real. It's true. There's tons of evidence that back it up. If people saw, in historical times, that this book called the Bible was shown to be true, don't you think that they would complain if they didn't see the things that were recorded in there with their own eyes? But there has been no complaint. That's one reason. There are many more, but I would use up to ten pages to tell you all of them. The Bible says that scripture is "God-breathed". What do you think that means? It doesn't mean that God literally breathed on it, it means those verses were the words that came out of his mouth. He just had people help him write it. The Bible also says that it is useful for, "teaching, rebuking, correcting and training." That means that it is true, it can be used to help people live their life. It is our guide. We are to be, "thoroughly equipped for every good work." We are thoroughly equipped when we read the Bible. That is how true and powerful the Bible is. I bet you that if we understood what the Bible is, fully, we would be ashamed of how little we read before and then started to read it 24/7. That's why I am challenging you today. Read your Bible. Here's a suggestion:
-Pray first that God will show you something amazing through your Bible.
-Read it and get into the Bible.
-Summarize what you have read.
-Pray that God will help you in some aspect that you hadn't noticed until you read that day.
