Mark 12:30 -"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength."
This seems like an easy verse to do. Love God. But God says to love him with everything you have. If you had a Crazy Love for someone, what would happen? Probably these and a lot more would happen:
-Talk to that person, 24/7
-Know everything about that person
-Do anything that person tells you to do.
-Not be afraid to talk about that person to anyone.
-If someone said anything mean about that person, you would defend him.
-Invite that person to everything.
How about if that person was God? What would you do? What should you do?
-Talk to God, 24/7
-Know everything about Jesus (in this case, reading the Bible)
-Do anything Jesus tells you to do (The 10 Commandments)
-Do not be afraid to talk about your faith to anyone.
-If someone said anything mean about God, you would defend him.
-Invite God into your life and let him be in every decision you make.
I know I haven't done all those things. You probably haven't. But that's what would happen if we had a personal relationship with him. Do you have a personal relationship with our heavenly Father? Is there anything you need to do this week that might help you achieve one of these things on the list?
