We Can Not See God

A Guy named Blake heard that there was a guy who could do a backflip while juggling. "No way," he said to his friends. But when he saw the guy do that, he automatically believed his friend.

John 20:29 - "Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen me but still believed."

Thomas, who was one of Jesus' disciples, didn't believe that Jesus rose again and was alive. He said that he had to see the holes where the nails were in his and and touch them. Jesus came out to him and Thomas did just that. He touched where the nails were, he touched his side. Then he knew that Jesus was back. Don't you think that it was wierd for everyone? Jesus, who was nailed on a cross and died, just came back to life again? I bet people were confused. "But... how is.... he here?!"

This verse means that we are actually doing something harder than the disciples. We believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose again but we haven't seen him. We haven't fingered where the nails were in his hands, we haven't talked to Jesus face to face. But we still believe. Now that is amazing. Jesus said, "Blessed are those who have not seen me but still believed." So if you can truly believe that Jesus rose from the dead, good for you! If you don't believe, trust me it is really hard to believe. But the Bible is 110% true, Jesus died on the cross and rose again so that we may have eternal life with our heavenly father.
