Psalm 37:4 - "Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart."
Do you think that this verse means that if you ask for Call of Duty you would get it? Do you think this means that you will get a new cell phone if you pray? No way! When you delight in the Lord, you will start to want what he wants for you. You will start to read the Bible more often. You will start to want to talk to God. God will start to be your life. Then when you pray, do you think that you will pray for selfish reasons? No, you will pray through agape love. Agape means a love based truly on others. If we really dig deep into God's word, we will start to get agape love. "Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart." Think about that verse today, and try to have agape love.
