1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 - "Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
When you are having a bad day, are you joyful? Do you give thanks? God doesn't say just to be joyful when something good happens, he says to be joyful always. God doesn't say to pray only when you want help, he says to pray continually. God doesn't say to give thanks when you something amazing comes your way, he says to give thanks in all circumstances. Do you do that? I know I don't. But that is God's will for us. Next time if something frustrating comes your way at work, or a loved one gets hurt, try to thank God for some aspect of it. Let's say, if someone tries to commit suicide, would you thank God for that? We need to be the people that thank God for that, because the person didn't die or was discovered before it was too late. I know that's a serious issue, but let's say that you have to do more work in the office and have to stay later, without pay. We need to be the ones that thank God that we even have a job, because economic times are rough. Just think about it, and today, try to be happy in everything you do.
