He will use You

1 Corinthians 1:26-31 26 Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. 27 But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. 28 God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, 29 so that no one may boast before him. 30 It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. 31 Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.”

Woah, I love this passage. I also love this saying, "God doesn't call the qualified, he qualifies the called." He uses the messed up, prideful, ignorant humans, and will do amazing things through them, so that He could be glorified.

We are messed up beings. We can't help it. But God decided to choose YOU to love on people, to serve yet another person without getting recognized, to share Christ with a friend. He chose you so that people can boast in Him. That is so special. That is grace. God is so amazing, and decides to use us in his plan. I don't understand it, but he does. When God asks you to do something, when you get your heart tugged in one direction, say yes and follow His plan. It can be very hard, but it's worth it.

There's so much more in this passage. Read it over and over again, and be in awe of how great God is. We are able to boast in God, because of the amazing things he has done for us.

God is so good, and he will use you to do amazing things that you couldn't have ever imagined. Just say yes!
