James 1:2-4 -"Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."
It is really hard to stand up for your faith. When someone looks down on you because you are a Christian, it hurts. But, just remember that when people look down on you, you are supposed to consider it as joy. You are fulfilling your purpose to stand for what you believe in and be the light of the world. That testing of your faith gives you perseverance. When you persevere you will become more mature. So when someone laughs at your faith, be happy because you are fulfilling God's plan for you.
