Vengeance

Nahum 1:3A -"The Lord is slow to anger and great in power; the Lord will not leave the guilty unpunished."

When someone gets away with something, don't you get mad? I know I do. I always want them to get caught. Our society always likes to give people what they deserve, but God doesn't want us to do that. God punishes the guilty, but in his own timing. When someone steals something, the police catches them and they go to jail right away. But if it was God's timing, maybe he would've gotten a different punishment, like maybe someone steals from him a year later, or something like that. When you get mad and angry at someone, please don't get them back. God will if it is in his will. But maybe the years have gone by and God hasn't gotten back at the person. In this verse it says that God is slow to anger. Maybe he had forgiven that person and maybe he got a second chance, just like Jonah. You have to think about both sides of the story. Remeber, if someone is mean to you, forgive them, don't try to get even, and let God do the rest.

Taking another break again. CYA!
