Romans 8:31 - "What then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, then who can be against us?"
I really like this verse. It says that God is for us. Doesn't that make you want to jump for joy? The creator of everything is actually for us. If we were in a court, Jesus would be our lawyer, pleading our case. I don't know, but this verse just makes me happy.
Some people, and I know myself, wonder, "Isn't Satan against us?". After I had a discussion with my mom she said that Satan is, but whenever he wants to trick us, he has to go through God first. Since God is for us, he will make the wise decision. He might let Satan test us, but only in his will.
We do have to realize, though that it says we should respond. How would you respond if God said he was for you? I know I would try to be for God, as he is for me. But since God says he is for us, how are you responding now? Are you just ignoring him? Or are you loving him and for him? Are you not living like a Christ follower? Or are you following his ways?
